Payments

Prices in the web shop are in euros and include the Finnish VAT 24%. Finnish VAT is included regardless of the shipping address.
We accept a variety of payment methods through PayPal and Stripe with major credit cards.

You can pay your order by:

- Credit card: Visa, Visa Electron, Master Card. All credit card transactions are secure. Visa payments are done with Verified by Visa and Master Card with MasterCard Secure Code verification service.
- Bank transfer (direct debit).

- Paypal: Payment due to mai@mainiemi.com

Orders

Online or in-boutique shopping only. Phone or e-mail orders are not accepted.
There is no minimum order amount. All accessible products are in stock and or made by order within few days of order. In the case that Mai Niemi Design House is unable to deliver in accordance with the terms of your confirmed order, we will contact you and give you the opportunity to exchange or cancel the order for a full refund.

Any person making orders in the web shop must be at least 18 years old and he/she must hold a permanent delivery address within the delivery area of the web shop. For example, mail box addresses, hotels and other similar temporary addresses are not regarded as permanent addresses.
All items remain the property of Mai Niemi Design House until full payment is received.

Shipping & Delivery

The shipping fee will be added to your order after the shipping method is chosen. Once your order is ready to ship you will receive a shipping confirmation by email. the code. With DHL Express shipping, the package will be delivered within 2–3 working days of it leaving the Mai Niemi studio.

We will ship the product(s) ordered from the web shop without undue delay after we have confirmed the order, and in any event we use reasonable efforts to ship products(s) within ten (10) days of the confirmation. In the event a product you have ordered is not available, we may separately agree with you that we will deliver another product that is essentially similar to the original product, provided that the price of the replacement product does not exceed that of the original product.

DHL Express Shipping

Soon after pick-up you will receive either e-mail or text message with DHL tracking code and estimated delivery time. By clicking the link in the message, you can choose best possible delivery option for you. Delivery can be made to original delivery address, to DHL Service Point or DHL Parcel Lockers, and you can also change the delivery address within the same country.

Your shipment will be delivered climate neutrally with DHL Express GoGreen service. With GoGreen, the logistics-related emissions are offset through various certified climate protection projects around the world.

Postage and handling will be added automatically on all orders (Postal Parcel). Orders are sent via the Finnish Post Office or via either DHL Express from Door to Door.
Mai Niemi Design House cannot be held responsible for lost packages. We aim to process all orders within 4-6 working days after the order has been confirmed, excluding holidays and weekends.

When ordering from outside Finland, please allow up to 14 days for delivery (Finnish Post).

Oders delivered by DHL express. Delivery time 1-3 workdays.

We reserve the right to change shipping prices.

Delivery charges

Delivery is free on all orders exceeding 500€. Delivery charges variate depending on shipping country and product type. The postage fee depends on the weight of the package. Here are approximates for a envelope and maxi letter up till 0,5 kg . Each kilogram adds 1 € to the price.

DHL customs declared orders 0,5 kg 15-24 € depending the Tariff zone.

1.    Finland 5€ (clothing), 2,50€ (accessories)
2.    Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Estonia 8-15€
3.    Other EU countries 8-20€
4.    Rest of the world 15€-36€ (USA 24 € DHL)

Customers from non-EU countries are responsible for possible import customs and taxes.

Return Policy

Mai Niemi Design House offers a full 14-day money back guarantee from the day you receive your order if you are not satisfied with the product. Items must be returned in their original packaging and in their original condition. You can either exchange your product for another or receive a monetary refund within 30 days after we receive the return. Mai Niemi Design House will cover all of the delivery costs in the event of a faulty product or product damage during delivery.

Mai Niemi Design House will refund the delivery cost of your return if the return has been made via your local post office or DHL within 14 days of receiving the delivery. Please ensure that you return orders with sufficient postage AND THAT YOU INCLUDE COPIES OF THE POSTAGE RECEIPTS FOR REIMBURSEMENT. Returns where postage is not paid will not be accepted by us.

Payments & Data Transfer

SSL – Guaranteed Security. We value your trust in Mai Niemi Design House and ensure that we operate with the highest care and security standards concerning your personal data. For a secure transfer of your customer data and especially your credit card details, we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) transfer. Here we use a high security 128-bit encoding from Thawte. All information that has been transferred with this system is encoded before being sent to us. This means nothing can happen to your data in transit.

Mai Niemi Design House does not provide your private data to any third parties. We keep your details on our system only in order to provide you a fast and efficient ordering process. This data is handled with the utmost privacy and security.

Product Representation in the Mai Niemi Webshop
We cannot guarantee that the colours shown on the website are precisely the colours of the garments you will receive. Colour seen on your computer or mobile device's screen depends on your personal settings, and varies from monitor to monitor. We do our best to provide quality photographs of the products. Every product is handmade and therefore there might be slight changes in appearance of products.

Law & Jurisdiction

Finnish law will be applied to all disputes arising from this User Agreement. All disputes arising under this agreement which cannot be solved by mutual agreement shall be solved in the district court of Helsinki, Finland.
