Yhdessä luonnon kanssa
Helsinki Design Capital vuonna 2012 lanseerattiin Kansainvälinen Keijupäivä, jota vietetään toukokuun 18. päivä. Sen tavoite on ollut alusta saakka juhlistaa paitsi kevään heräämistä, myös paluuta luonnonmukaisuuteen ja vahvistaa yhteyttä luontoon. Nyt kun hidastamme elämäämme poikkeusoloissa, voimme löytää luonnon yksinkertaisen ja parantavan voiman uudelleen ja voida hyvin. Pitkän pohjolan talven jälkeen tunnemme voimakasta halua lämmittää ystävyys ja yhteydenpito luonnon olentoihin. Yhdistyminen luontoon on myös yhteys itseen, sisäiseen luontoomme. Myös muoti palaa myös luontoon ja luonnonmukaisuuteen.
Luomu Muotipuutarha
Joka kevät luonnonhenget puhuttelevat minua suunnittelijana ja aivan taianomaisesti ilmentyy jotain millä he haluavat juhlistaa kevään ja kukkien puhkeamista, aivan kuin alussakin. Tänä keväänä luonnonhenget auttoivat minua luomaan aivan erityisen muotipuutarhan, joka on täynnä iloista leikkimielisyyttä ja toimii väriterapaina. Tiedätkö, että turkoosi parantaa immunitettia ja rauhoittaa ja oranssi tuo iloa?
Tunsin heidän läsnäolonsa ja innostuksensa luodessani tätä aarreaittaa. He sanovat, että heihin ja luontoon voi olla yhteydessä myös muodin kautta, sillä he rakastavat kauniita vaatteita. Sillä kun käytämme iloista, luonnollista ja ekologista muotia, se on merkki luonnon hengille, että välitämme ja rakastamme itseämme ja että sillä, mihin uskomme, on merkitystä. Muotipuutarhassa on perhosniitty, jossa kukkivat ja lentelevät mitä värikkäimmät kukat ja perhoset, joita voi pukea korviin, kaulaan tai ranteisiin, myös setteinä.

Tänä keväänä voimme juhlia luonnon heräämistä kunnioittamalla luonnonhenkien ja kukkakeijujen läsnäoloa sillä, miten pukeudumme. Keijut rakastavat kauniita vaatteita, koska he saavat niiden aurat loistamaan, he sanovat.

Sisäinen luonto
Löydämme luonnon ja sen uskomattoman parantavan voiman, kun hidastamme ja on aikaa mennä luontoon keräämään luonnon energiaa. Minulle se on aina ollut niin. Pitkän pohjolan talven jälkeen tunnen voimakasta halua lämmittää ystävyys ja yhteydenpito luonnon olentoihin. Yhdistyminen luontoon on myös yhteys itseen. Löydämme sisäinen maailmamme, joka odottaa löytäjäänsä, kun opimme kuuntelemaan. Tämä yhteys sisäiseen luontoomme on todellinen mittaamaton aarre, koska se auttaa meitä löytämään kaikki etsimämme vastaukset.

Celebrate Fairy Day on May 18th
Together with nature
Helsinki Design Capital launched International Fairy Day in 2012, which will be celebrated on May 18. From the beginning, its goal has been to celebrate not only the awakening of spring, but also the return to naturalness and to strengthen the connection with nature. Now, as we slow down our lives in exceptional circumstances, we can rediscover the simple and healing power of nature and be well. After a long Nordic winter, we feel a strong desire to warm friendship and contact with natural beings. Unification with nature is also a connection to oneself, our inner nature. Fashion also returns to nature and naturalness.
Organic Fashion Garden
Every spring, the spirits of nature appeal to me as a designer and quite magically manifest something with which they want to celebrate the outbreak of spring and flowers, just like at the beginning. This spring, the the nature spirits helped me create a very special fashion garden that is full of joyful playfulness and acts as a color treatment as well. Do you know that turquoise strenghtens your immune system or that orange gives joy?
I felt their presence and enthusiasm as I created this treasure trove. They say that they and nature can also be connected through fashion because they love beautiful clothes. For when we wear joyful, natural, and ecological fashion, it is a sign to the spirits of nature that we care and love ourselves and that what we believe matters.
The fashion garden has a butterfly meadow where the most colorful flowers and butterflies that can be worn on the ears, neck or wrists, even as sets, bloom and fly.

The Inner nature
We find nature and its incredible healing power when we slow down and have time to go to nature to gather the energy of nature. For me, it has always been so. After a long Nordic winter, I feel a strong desire to warm up friendship and contact with natural beings. Unification with nature is also a connection to oneself. We find our inner world waiting for its discoverer as we learn to listen. This connection is a real immeasurable treasure because it helps us find all the answers we are looking for. There will be help if we just ask. If we want answers, we must first ask them from our inner nature.
